John’s main dilemma is that, although he is unhappy at work, he knows he is paid an above average salary for what he does. We spend time on John’s CV and through this process he begins to acknowledge what he is willing to risk and how financial security is his main priority. We discuss other possible environments which may need John’s skills and how to go about approaching companies. We consider specialist recruitment agencies which focus on John’s area of work. and we discuss augmenting John’s training and qualifications and how this could be achieved whilst working full-time.
